The curriculum was first introduced to Cody High School in Detroit in 2014. After a successful pilot at Cody, Osborne high school was added to the mix. In 2021 Growing Detroit Youth Talent (GDYT) was added as a summer program. To date, 99% of all students who begin the program successfully complete it. Many students have gone on to college and are doing well.
